it's the time of year dudettes! GSS: when retail therapy is the greatest remedy! i'm kinda sick of shopping now and most probably swear off any kind of shopping for at least the next 2 months...

on the day i met up with my bestie, we hunted for the shop in Chinatown that allows us to make our own accessories by choosing the pieces we want, while the shop owner will piece 'em up tgt with a expert and agile hands! ahahahaha i walked home with a necklace with a traditional western babyroom theme (whatever that is.)


on another day, i met up with kong, shu and pi @ vivo to shop till we drop.... i reallie spent a lot and i dun wanna publish the figures cuz it'll just make me feel even more guilty. but if it's counted per piece, my buys were really the most worth-it of all (: oh! and i spotted an OWL TOTE @ Topshop! i CANNOT resist the likes of adorable owl stuff! i'm a sucker for that!


today, i met up with shu and kong for swimming and tanning @ the usual place.

the sun was so darn egoistic, the temp was probably like 33 deg cel. i swam 20 laps (: after that, we cabbed to town. the cab driver was damn farnie! he kept talking abt how horrid the weather was and then he blasted his radio. the music was quite hip and happening lah! hahahah the only track i remembered was an old favourite: Semi-charmed Life! love it! we ate Soupspoon for lunch and the QC there is really 2 thumbs up! even after redeeming a free large cup of ice lemon tea, the person said we can redeem again cuz like he won't indicate that we already redeemed once. WOW! capital G in Generosity! so like after that, we went Mango to shop... hahhah kong and i were in a WILD CARDIGAN CRAZE! and guess wad! we found treasure lah! we both ended up buying this cardigan that is actually a walking AIRCON! cuz it cools ur skin but at the same time u feel warm. like the perfect condition for kong and me to sleep at home: COLD but WARM! and the cardigan's like only 23$ lah! i got an electric blue one while she got a lighting bolt yellow! AWESOME! shu got a fantastic multi-coloured cardigan which really suited her! then, we headed to far east to do more shopping. shu brought us to a Skinnies shop! we made friends with the Aunty! hahahaha! we both bought 2 items each! WOW! like we spent a BOMB! fer dinner, we went Gelare for waffles and ice-cream! ok as usual, our day ended with a BIG HOLE in our pockets and TOTAL DISFIGURATION of our bank accounts.... *sighs*

Witticism of the Day
as we were sipping our drink at Gelare, shu brought up a topic about selling away our old stuff at flea markets. then she mentioned a friend's sis who is setting up a shop at The Loft, and we can also try setting up a shop but we have to make the biz lucrative. there's a theme for the coming Loft event: Fairytale, and shu's friend's sis is having a Cinderella theme to her shop (if it fits, the item will be sold at a 50% discount. of cuz the clothes will be random and do not have fixed sizes.) so, we came up with a way to sell our old stuff....

derelict: (adj) left or deserted, as by the owner or guardian; abandoned. / (noun) personal property abandoned or thrown away by the owner.
we would be wearing stupid but creative staff uniforms like pipi's Sundress (garbage bag dress + a pattern of a sun on it), T-shirt (literally a T-shaped shirt) and like an Apron (an apron shaped in the letter A with the word 'pron' on it). not forgetting our "100% Derelict Material" tees for the staff (made from literally derelict cloth!) publicising-wise.... 1) Derelict: ugly is the new beautiful. 2) Derelict: now, you can finally blame your clothes. 3) Derelict: natural ugliness beats artificial beauty. 4) Derelict: enhances your beauty, indirectly. etc... HAHAHAH! corny! we'll like use trash cans to classify our items and sell them damn cheaply! we came up with too many nonsense to be true... can't blog everything down cuz they were like spurs of the moment. lol! ok, and so ends my day....
